How to disable my antenna????

Is there a way i can keep my antenna from coming up. I have one of the ones that comes out everytime you turn the radio on but i only listen to cd's so i don't really need my antenna. Is there a fuse of something i can pull to keep it from coming up. Thanks

umm. If it's the stock Infinity headunit the antenna shouldn't come up unless you switch to radio. If it's an aftermarket like I have you can cut the line that sends power to the antenna, I think it's orange and white or something like that. If no one here can tell you then I'll go look behind my radio cause I was going to cut mine anyway.

I found it. No need to cut the wire. the antenna has a harness you can just pull out. Just take the pannel door off on the antenna side and it's right there. It's a white harness.

Or you could do what I did, put it on a switch. This way you can listen to cd's without the ugly thing going up...flip the switch and listen to the radio. I mounted the switch inside my ceneter console.
