hey guys,
a lot of times lately, that i park and lock my car, i notice that after a few minutes my alarm sometimes randomly goes off, like today after getting out of my car it goes off after 15 sec as im walking from the parking lot to a store. Now this is the stock security system. Any suggestions or ideas as to what could be causing the alarm to randomly go off like this, without anyone actually setting it off? I've had the car now for a lil over 3 yrs and never had an issue with anything like that in the past.

Alot of the times it's the hood pin causing it. The location of that if you don't know already is on the driver side by the headlight, if you choose you can unplug and see if that is causing or when you get out of the car hold the light switch of the driver door and see if that switch is causing and do the passenger the same way if the hood thang dont work. If neither one of those works then it's the trunk and has a swith as well right in the latch it has a green wire coming from and unhook that and see.
