I've been searching and cant find anything.
I am doing a build around 400-450hp
I am considering using the stock 1g rods, but am currious if their are any weight advantages of the eagle rods, anyone know the weights of these two rods?
i'd be willing to spend a little extra for the eagles if they were a bit lighter.

OK, I have still been searching and found the answer if anyone is intrested.

Stock Rods (1G) 695 kilograms

Eagle Rods 575 kilograms

It's not our fault...:coy: I wish we would just switch over and use what the rest of the world uses. But we've got too much pride apparently. :|

Somehow I don't think mg is what he was looking for either. Just grams. 575mg would be rods about the weight of a Tylenol. Hey, even the mighty metric system has its faults... lets see, is it 1,000iu, or 1,000mg.. oh, wait, same junk :D

Though life may be easier in the metric-math world, we should still keep our system and let the world convert to ours US=Biggest/Superpower. Europe=tiny/week U.S. ftw. But, then again, we can't even get people in our country to use our own language, so that's probably not going to happen.

Edit: By the way, that equates to approx. 1.058lbs for all 4 rods. If you use that old idea that every 1lb off rotating mass is 2.7hp at the crank (totally rough/inaccurate estimate), that's what you'd be saving weight-wise. I guess the benefit of that is up to you to decide.

Those are some damn heavy rods LOL.

1161lbs for the eagles?

Milligrams is what you meant. You crazy Americans and not being able to figure out the metric system crack me up.

yeah, I think he meant grams, not milligrams.
