stock gst running 13.6 @106 anyone done this ?

booztdsm, i guess this is what you get when you join dsmtuners.... smh... it seels like people are hatin on your time.... and bcuz u were off by 3mp when u posted up your time slip, it isnt yours.... thats why you jus do what you do, post proof, and leave it alone... i know many people that have fast dsms and wont even sign up for dsm tuners bcuz you get drama... instead of people trying to help you out... everyone wants to be a smart ass over the computer... there are too many haters on here and band wagon riders on here now.... Congrats on your time and hope you do alot better...:thumb:
 
Well at the shootout he had crazy traction issues and he ran out of nitrous on one run so he was super rich and bogged it out LOL... He ran mid 13s again...

Smh... no but it sounds like you are....

well to be more specific my car is a 1997 gst/fwd

the car has the following
-450cc injectors -stock
-14b turbo/1st gen stock
-stock side mount
-street tires with a tread rating of 430
-stock clutch
-stock 4g63 -jdm
-full interior- electric windows and dr/seat
-no a/c removed
-turbonetics manual bc
-full stock exhaust -muffler
-fuel pump rewire
-and a 1g crushed bov


First off, he clears everything up with that list.... Secondly, his car is NOT far from stock... The only thing i can say that isnt "stock" would be the cams and the intake manifold and the turbo.... Those parts probably wont even give him 50 hp combined... I agree it isnt 100% stock but we all can agree that his times are great considering the little things done... Everyone wants to nitpick... There are MANY of members on here that have swapped vr4 manifolds and cams and 14b turbos and still couldnt pull those times reguardless.... i know members on here with over 4k in bolt ons alone and still cant clock those times....
 
well the shoot out went bad for my car ...:"( my first run i was planning to run my nitrous and 18psi however when i use my nitrous i have to adjust the safc to -9 correction on my wot settings and when i dont use nitrous i run my correction at-33 . so on my first run i set it at -9 (which is way richer since i have 750cc injectors) ...and off the line it was just bogging and not pulling like it should have been i actually had to turn the nitrous off and it smoothed out a little bit but i was runninng 10.0 afr down the track could have been richer but my wb02 only reads 10s-18s . on that pass it was a 13 sec pass . once i parked back to the dsm graveyard tent i took my bottle out and opened it up to see if nitrous was even in it and sure enough it was just air . i even had my hand in front of the air stream as half the bottle emptied . I will never get nitrous from Pauls high performance again . After that i went to the gold building at the race track to get nitrous and not only was it 10 bucks cheaper but it was really filled LOL and puro nitrous LOL !! so i went back to run again with a full bottle and race gas and it was a complete failure .:( i spun first second third and every time i would let off and give it again it would just spin so i said im done i need drs or slicks . the really filled nitrous made a crazzzzy difference . i was shitting bricks and the power gain ..just couldnt get it to stick to the road .... i had a great time though and my buddy viperlp ran a 12sec pass on his 2g awd so congrats to him .... with the temp at the tract i would imagine people could shave 3 tenths off there times with a cooler day or night . it was blazzing !

i just bought a evo3 16g also so more upgrades and tires soon !
 
I have seen this person drive his old 300zx tt and have know him for a couple years and the times that his dsm are pulling are all legit. I think it is funny that other people rag on him just because "their" car could not do it LOL , and for the people who are saying it isn't stock, come on guys look at the list again.

I have personally seen him pull great numbers in a number of different cars so if it isn't the car it is most def the driver.

dleal is a good friend of mine from when i lived in texas . he has seen what i have done with a bone stock n/a 300zx to a fully modded twinturbo z . soon he will be putting up some good numbers too !:)

im glad i have 3 or so people commenting on my posts for you non-believers ! :hellyeah:
 
Stop buying mods now and get some DRs LOL... You arent getting any faster.. Just the tread loss on your tires..
 
What shot of nitrous are you running? I'm about to get my nitrous kit installed and Im debating between a 50 or 75 shot.

Im running 16psi (internal wastegate limited) with an 18g and all supporting mods. Will be running 20psi whenever I get off my ass and install my external gate. Also waiting on the weather.

Also, are you still running the stock clutch? How is it holding the nitrous powaaa?
