I need to remove the portion of the stock fuel return line that goes from the fpr to the metal fuel line. Basically the rubber hose section. It is old and has some holes in it. Its located by lower middle firewall. My question is what holds the rubber hose onto the metal part? I kinda can see like a metal rimg crimped around it maybe? Whats the best way to get that sucker off? Im just replacing it with normal fuel return line hose. Thanks in advance. Cars a 98 gsx.

That's odd. On my 96 and 97 the return line is just hose clamps. The feed lines have a crimped end that resembles a pushlock design. If your return is the same as the feed you must replace the whole line, not jist the rubber hose. You could probably use one of the many feed kits available which contain all the fittings, hose, etc you need. STM, extreme PSI, MAP, etc all sell them.

It very well could just be a hose clamp. Either way im putting this new fuel hose on tomorrow! Haha. I tried to get in there and feel it but afpr and everything else made it impossible. I was just looking for a lil info before i move everything and replace it. One way or the other its gettin replaced tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback bro!
