Im running a big16g on stock fuel, fully built engine ross pistons eagle rods, and most supporting mods, btw its at. I dont know why i cant run anything past 14psi without hitting a fuel cut. My af guage says im running extremely rich so is there a way to turn the stock fuel down? Is this the reason why I am hitting a fuel cut? fmic, injen intake, apexi bov, mbc,

You might be running with not enough fuel. The big16g flows much more air than the stock one at 14psi. without adding more fuel, you are stuck with one alternative...lowering the boost. You need a fuel pump, afpr...the A/F gauge is worthless I think, just a cool light show at night for the ladies.

Fuel cut is from when your maf reads a LOT of air coming in, which the ECU takes to be too much, so it fuel cuts.

Fuel cut has nothing to do with an actual fuel issue.

You probably have a boost leak, making your turbo spin REALLY fast just to make 14psi, but since it is spinning so hard to make up 14psi with the leak, it is sucking in a LOT of air, wich the ecu then sees and hits fuel cut.

Like he said fuel cut has nothing to due with fuel delivery. Its all about how much air the maf reads. You should not get fuel cut with a 2g maf and that low of boost. A 2g maf can handle over 25psi. The number one reason for hitting fuel cut at that low of a boost is a boost leak. Do a BLT and get back to us.

You sure about this? I was told that fuel cut usually happens between 14 and 16 PSI. The MAF sensor is good to around 25 PSI, but i dont think the stock fuel system is. That is why the ECU is cutting out fuel. It wants to cut fuel before the fuel system gets over ran and starts running dangerously lean.

Ill say it again, fuel cut has nothing to due with fuel delivery. Its all about the maf being over ran. My brother had a stock fuel system and could still push over 20psi without cutting out. When the maf reads to much air it cuts fuel. It will not cut because you are short on fuel, you will just run lean and get lots of knock.

WHAT CAUSES FUEL CUT?
Despite the rumors of fuel cut being caused by too low of fuel pressure, too small of injectors, high flowing exhaust, high flowing intake, or large turbos fuel cut is not directly caused by any of these. Fuel cut is actually caused by the ECU seeing more air entering the engine than it was originally programmed to use. This likely cooresponds with an injector duty cycle which is unsafe or unattainable. So basically fuel cut is caused by the MAF seeing too much air. Don't ask what too much air is....

You just proved me right with this link. See how it says fuel has nothing to do with fuel cut!!!!!

Kind of vauge... 25psi on a T-25 is a lot less air flow than 25 psi on a 16G. It shouldn't have anything to do with the amount of pressure, just the amount of air flowing through the MAF.

Correct?

However, I agree with the rest of what you said. I would say that boost leaks are probably the number 1 reason why people see fuel cut. I was getting fuel cut on my big t-28 at only 8psi. I did a boost leak test and found a major leak at the LICP. Fixed it, ran 15 psi after that (spiked at 16) and pulled all the way to redline, with no fuel cut.
