You just screw it in. I too feel that you aren't listening to anyone. DSMLink is far better, and far easier then the stupid SAFC. If you don't want to take the time to figure it out, why bother with tunning/modding cars period. If you don't know crap about DSM's, what makes you think you can help him. I feel like this whole thread is just going around in circles

Simple

Set the fuel pressure, if it is not running right then there is somethign wrong with the dsmlink

Pull out ecu (very easy) Open up the case, find the dsmlink number. Email them the number. They will give you a lot of help if it is a legit version. If it is not, either buy a new dsmlink or get rid of your dsmlink and find a stock computer.

IF you want to find a stock computer, you HAVE to put in the stock 450s, but leave the fuel pressure regulator in at the 43.5 psi pressure. This is because the aftermarket large fuel pump will overrun the stock fuel pressure regulator.


If you have 575 laying around and your ecu doesnt have a legit dsmlink, GET DSMLINK. pay 575, have the ecu chipped for 950cc injectors (free if you bought dsmlink) and put it all in and DONE! The car will run right as long as there are no boost leaks and random bullshit. But it will take care of all your mods (fuel pump, afpr, 950cc injectors, and turbo.

hey guys im trying to install a fuel pressure gauge on my friends car,

thats the fuel pressure regulator my buddy has, and was wondering, from the pictures view, where does the pressure gauge screw into the fpr... Left, Right, or Bottom side of the fpr... the threads on the fpr are all rather large for the gauge to screw in...

None of the above. Un-screw the brass set screw in the center of the fpr and install the gauge there, make sure you apply fuel resistant thread sealant.
