stock fmic for an eclipse????

Last weekend i went to the local DIY junk yard and i came across a turbo laser. So after taking the turbo system i looked around and i didn't see a side mount intercooler or a spot for one. I was thinking this had to be stock because there were no other mods and it wasn't a big bulky FMIC that we all know but anways it had one. So to any of the experienced DSMers whats up with this one?

So you're saying it had a small front-mount, or it didn't have ANY intercooler at all? If it had a small front-mount, I'd have to say maybe it was a Starion/Conquest FMIC.

they could have but wouldnt u think they'd take the perfect turbo as well.

yes, thats a good point, but when you don't have the money at the time, or when the junk yard ask for too much and gives no warranty for a part that you may find cheaper somewhere else you just gotta let it go.

well the whole set up if u tell them its the exhaust manifold like i did its only 20 so this guy was a bum that took a shitty smic instead of a full turbo setup. Well when i was there i needed more room to pull everything out so i ripped out the radiator and there was another radiator(or IC) in front of it so im not quite sure.

That's the a/c condensor in front of the radiator.

Yeah, that's the AC condenser. Easily confused with a radiator though.

Or maybe the turbo on it is shot and the other guy knew it and didn't want to wast any money on it. Just a thought, not saying it's true
