I want to know what type of FMIC will fit in the front mouth of the 2gB eclipse fully but will not make me rid my stock fogs. I also want the cheapest. 800 is too much for me at this time. please let me know. thanks. :talon:

A quick search of the handy-dandy Tech Articles Section on DSMTuners would produce:

If you want efficiency, stay away from Tube and fin style, and look for BAR and PLATE style intercoolers.

this is what youre looking for man, bolts on using stock IC pipes with extensions, 550$ and proven to run 11s by my friend in his 95

yeah i dont like the way the endtanks are done on that, looks restrictive =\ but whatever..

Looks can be deceiving, this fm will handle what you throw at it... boost wise that is. retail is about a grand.

That thing is in need of some desperate cleaning.

Yea. Its been sitten around for some time; its very very dirty and has lime deposite on it. But its still new, had roughly 50 miles on it when the car decided it was gonna blow the oil pump. And thats how i ended up with it. It came off a 12 second tsi.

yep, but i got a tsi that im building up and putten that so called shitty fmic on. But back on subject i just wanted to show people it ;)

Anybody know how good the NPR intercooler is compared to some of the others?

I have the NPR core on my car and I like it. So far I haven't had any problems with it at all. I have ran a best of [email protected] in the local 1/8 mile track and hopefully it will be getting faster after my DSMlink gets here. I've ran the car pretty hard for a while and then felt the outlet tank and it's always ambient, never even warm to the touch, while the inlet tank is too hot to leave your hand on.

Sakrafice, that looks like a Buschur fmic to me. That will do just fine. I run mine at 20-22 psi. No leaks and it cools well.

General Chaos, just an fyi. That fmic doesn't suck. :p
