stock downpipe bolts

hey I'm removing my downpipe and I can't get the one bolt that holds the shield on, is there any trick to it? cause no wrench or socket will fit.

Have you tried from every angle? Every bolt was put on, every bolt can be taken off. I'm sure if you specify which one some of the other turbo'd guys can give you pointers though

It should be a 12mm. I just took mine off the other day and that's what they all are, unless yours has been replaced by something else. I'm not sure if you've taken the fan out yet but it really helps if you do that.

yea it's the 12mm one that holds it to the bracket where the oil cooler lines go through. I'll take another stab at it.

try some vice grips if you can get em on there

Every bolt was put on, every bolt can be taken off.

I belived that too, until I bought my Talon. I had a caliper bolt that I literally spent months trying to take off. Maybe once a week I'd pop the tire off and give it another shot, soak it in PB Blaster, try again next week. I even tried torching it. I ended up having to cut it with a saw.
