Just got my clutch replaced with a south bend rally clutch at a local transmission shop. When i came back to pick it up i asked what had made the clutch go bad(just to make sure it wasnt something i did wrong) and to my surprise he informed me that it was the clutch that came on the car from the FACTORY (also had a factory flywheel that had never been resurfaced)!? I didnt have any idea that a stock clutch would last 123,000 miles on an all wheel drive car. I bought the car about 6 months ago and i could tell the clutch was a little worn(never gave me much trouble till recently). Is this uncharacteristically a long lasting clutch? or is that pretty standard? Either way my new clutch feels great so far(well see for sure after the break-in) I feel like i have a new car.

), but then I cracked the pressure plate at the track, and it went from working good to doing nothing on the drive home.
