hey new to the forum swapping another 7 bolt into my gst jw if i should go w stock oem axles or go for aftermarket? this summer i am building a 6bolt so i didnt know what would be more beneficial for power and longevity?

OEM axles last a very good while... depending on the condition

It really depends on your goals for track/hp power...

If youv'e got the money, its never a bad idea, yet if your on a budget and not looking for high goals... its not necessary

Id go with OEM if you can afford them. I put axles in (same brand they sell at advance auto) and snapped it at the outter boot. I mean they are only ~$70 so its up to you but dont expect to get a long period of time out of them if the car isnt stock

Edit: just noticed by "aftermarket" you mean beefier than OEM. LOL in that case it really depends on what your intended use for the car is and how kind of goals you are looking for in the car. OEM axles take a beating...

I have built 400 and 500 hp dsms and i have always ran stock axels... the life isnt as long but you are building a dsm you should keep every bolt on it lubed up anyways just because it is just a matter of time before they break.

The good thing about advanced/autozone/oreily axles is the fact that they're covered under warranty

So you can always go back and get them replaced when they break :sneaky:
