I know this seems like a retarded question, but I blew my head gasket from too much boost, and am upgrading the head studs as well. What I figure from reading posts is that the stock 2G head is a 7 bolt. Am I correct? I don't want to buy the wrong bolts and have to wait longer for my car to run again!:talon:

The "7 bolt" refers to the flywheel bolts.

Yes, order studs for a 2g "7 bolt". However, there are more than 7 head studs LOL.

Well, considering that I just put in a brand new ACT clutch/pressure plate, as well as a lighter flywheel (which changes the way the car drives completely :D) I will keep this setup for the time being. My only mechanical problem now is the blown gaskets, which I intend to fix with ARP head studs and an organic OEM HG. This seems to be the common consensus among members for applications boosting in the 20s. I blew out my HG at 19psi when I put on new wheels and was trying them out.:(
