Alright for those who want to help and not talk about how dsmlink is way better, which i already know. Its just i could of bought it but im not planning on such great numbers.

Mods are:

Intake, MHI 18g Turbo, Full 3 inch exhaust, Boost gauge, AEM Uego Wideband, VRSF Front mount intercooler, Hallman Incabin boost crontroller, 1G BOV, and evo 8 Fuel pump with stock injectors and stock fuel pressure regulator.

Im just wondering if its possible to tune the stock 450's on my 2g or are they maxed out as it is?

I did one pull on the 18g at 15 psi and had a reading of 12. 3 or so.. i know im suppose to goal for 11.0 or less as ive been told but is there anyway i can set the safc at high throttler richer to run safer boost. Or is it only recommended to tune on the safc after upgrading injectors.

I am currently playing it safe and running 13psi since i dont want to run too lean.

Here is the problem. First off on such a large turbo a pose to stock you dunno whats going on without a logger. Now what I am saying is the stock injectors probably will not keep up with the flow of the turbo as I had a small 16g at 18psi with stock injectors and they where way maxed out even leaning it out as much as I could, no leaner then 11:1 a/f ratio on pump gas and I knew I was pushing those injectors too. This also is with a safc. Now I would recomend you keep the boost low untill you get atleast 650+cc injectors for that turbo. Now remember you cant moniter anything so you will be blind tuning and calculating airflow to injector ratio. Now for you to make power sence you can't change timing and what not is to just lean it out enough to make power as the stock a/f ratio at wot on the car's are really rich they just dump fuel. So all you can do is hope you lean it out safe enough to make good power, but don't forget leaning it out without a log or knowing what is going on might blow your motor who know's what kind of knock your seeing.

On an 18g your going to max those 450's out pretty quick. I was pretty much maxed out with 450's at 16psi with a 14b. 16 psi on a 14b is way different than the same boost level with an 18g. Your going to be flowing alot more air on that 18g compared to the same boost level with a smaller turbo. Since you can't see what your injector duty is i would leave it at 13psi. Chances are your close to or passed 100% injector duty at that boost level. You would probably be better of with something in the range of 650cc's.

You're going to need something to log with so look into getting evoscan and a vag com 409.1 cable and as the others said, keep the boost down until you get new injectors.

Oh yeah, Forgot to mention i got a Obd2 cable along with a palm for logging.. im just in need of a serial cable from the palm to the ob2 scanner cable.

So judging by the responses i got, the 450's are maxed out then.

Would evo8 560' injectors be good enough for a safc tune and 17 psi on the 18g?

You will have to log at the log on the palm and see if it is or not. No one can really say what will be good unless we see what the ecu is saying it's ok or not. You might need more or might be ok. Get's some logs going get some bigger injectors try get some tuning and see what it does.

Im running big 16g with a 255 walbro 560s and front mount 2.5-3inch downpipe an 3 all the way back. o2 dump intent with 4,5 intake and manifold ported wastgate and head with evo 8 internals and Im having difficulties with the same thing.i have a limited budget and safc is what i can get for now but have a few questions about using it. i also have a obd 2

Here is the top notch safc guide info you can get. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-tuning-ecu/366004-safc-tuning-how-why.html If you don't know what to do it is wise to find a tuner that is familiar with the safc. There are not alot out there you kinda just mess around with it and lean out your car to make a little power is all about you can do with it. Best to sell some old crap you have in the house and the safc and save up form ecmlink or get a black box ecu or just get an eprom ecu and get a chip burned theres tons of remote tuners out there like my1gdsm who can do great remote tunes that will be twice as good as safc. But if you must tune with it there are ton tons of post's on safc and people asking about how to tune with it kinda browse around to get an idea how to dial in the safc knob.
