2G Still smoking

So bought a 2g spyder gst 2 years ago took it apart sprayed block down so wouldnt rust but then just let it sit for a while why did ls swap in e46. Back to the spyder slapped her together this last weekend and started up. Started smoking again. During the rebuild it got new turbo, rebuilt bottom end, i know new rings smoke but dont think its ring smoke though could b wrong. im assuming head probably didnt spray head down. Smokes when gets hot so maybe guides, anyways gonna tear it back down but would like recommendation,ideas or just dsm fun facts.

I believe a good sign if it is worn/bad valve seals(valve guilds) leaking is when the motor smokes/burns oil at start up because of the oil seeping through the valve seals into the cylinders over time from sitting.

Blue smoke is oil, white is water/coolant, and black is fuel.

Might just b the rings then. Need to get them to seat all the way just dont wanna get pulled over but oh well i guess. I know guide seal get hot and seat so normally only smoke at low temps but a cracked guide would im not sure

If it has new rings I'd look closer at the guides, rings smoke all the time but guides smoke when heated

How much smoke are we talking here? What is the color of the smoke?

Im not sure if i can post videos on here im new to this dsmtuner site or any forums really. But its blueish for sure. I put just around 500 miles on it over the last few but still smoking. Did compression test all above 150. If its idling only smoke when it gets warm. If u drive wont smoke at all until you stop . Then it's like puff. So definitely leaning towards guide or seals. I just ordered both so we will find out soon i suppose.

Anyone ever cut there own guides on dsm. I have tools for diesels but they wont adjust down to what i have seen specs for. If so any recommendations for tools.

just to let the people that answered me know it was guide seals put new ones in today. didn't smoke at all after. Thanks for the responses though.
