still only boostin 14psi?

aye sup everyone i got a 96 eclipse gst stock but yesterday i just got an apexi n1 exhaust and i took out my catalytic converter and put on a boost controller and i am still only boostin 14psi, does that seem reasonable?

I am pretty sure its the stock,plastic, leak BOV. I Get rid of it and you will boost more

Whoa turn down your MBC before you blow something up. Your plastic BOV is definately leaking on you and you could be running 20+ psi which will quickly fry your turbo. And please tell me you have a REAL boost guage and not using the stock POS. Just grab a 1g BOV and adapter off of dsmtrader.com, ebay, or the classifieds on here and then you can be good to turn up the boost alittle bit. That new exhaust isnt gonna do you any good if your motor is blown up :laugh:

aye thanks for the tips but yea i got a boost gauge and its says 14psi and i got my mbc opened all the way but i'll take it out now cus i dont want a fried turbo
