Still leaking

I've been having trouble building boost on my E16g. My actuator seems to be somewhat crushed in so I wired the wastegate shut to see if boost comes on at all. I did to about 15psi then bleeds down unless I stay in it hard. I pressurized the system again and I still have this leak somewhere around the exhaust manifold/turbo area. I just can't pinpoint i where its coming from but it sounds like a major leak. If anyone knows of a way to visually spot where the leak could be coming from before I pull the mani off let me know.

If it's an Exhaust leak then it should be all black around the spot that it is leaking.

Spray soapy water in the area you hear the hissing. You will see bubbles come up where air is leaking.

Check the compressor cover, they tend to leak more often then you'd think.

Finally found that damn leak at the j-pipe. Changed gasket, tightened it down and now I'm building and holding boost finally. Time to go huntin'!
***Update*** Also had a leak in the j-pipe itself. There was a hole on the inner side where a weld was so I used Quick Steel on the hole and sealed it.
