stiffer springs without lowering?

I really need to stiffen up the springs in the rear to help me on my launches, but I want to keep the stock ride heigth or close to it, so I can maintain my sleeper status. I can't really find anything like what I am looking for so if someone could just point me in the right direction that would be great, thanx!

try the h&r sport springs, they have fairly stiff spring rates and they dont drop the car very much at all, 1.25" up front and, 1" in the rear

I have thought about going with lowering springs with an inch lowering, but I would like to try and keep the stock heigth completely. If I can't find anything for an ok price then that is what I'm going to do.

Do you mean that mean that when I am driving normal I can have stock heigth and then when I wanna race I can lower it? Cause I don't think if I put it at stock heigth it will help with my launching problems.

Coilovers will allow you to set the height of your car wherever you want, and will really stiffen up the car too. Most come with adjustable valving which will help you tune the suspension for launching, if that's really all you want to use them for..

I would agree, get some coil overs like ground conrtrolls. They are very nice and they use eibach springs in their kit. Also get some good adjustable shocks. I would recomend kyb agx, they are easy to adjust.

If I plan on leaving the stock heigth on the coilovers, I see no need to invest in new STRUTS, because I won't be lowering the car ever.

You'd benefit a lot from stiffer struts as well. When you launch, the rear of the car squats down quickly, and this would be stopped by a stiff rear strut. A stiffer strut would prevent quick movements of the suspension such as in launching.

Did you ever think of just welding you center diff to prevent the fronts from spinning?

I'm confused, I understand welding the center diff, but how is that going to help my wheel spin. I already spin all four tires through most of first, it is just that the front ones are barely getting any traction because of my launches

Also it's my understanding that struts and shocks aren't really made to stiffen up the suspension... they do a little, but that is the job of the springs or leafs. By having better struts, you eliminate excessive jounce and rebounce... I think.

stock struts won't be able to handle the increased spring rate, regardless of the ride height

Yes they dampen the vehicle. Tein basic coilovers. Shocks and springs with alot of adjustability and you can stay at stock ride height.
