Stiff Reverse Shift

Have a 90 Ply Laser that i did a auto to 5 speed swap. I didn't have enough clutch travel to shift, so i put a small washer behind the pivot ball. All was fine (just a LITTLE stiff to shift). So a few months later my OCD got the best of me and i ended up replacing the clutch fork and pivot ball, left the washer out, and i actually have a little more "pop" in my clutch pedal. Now it is very uncomfortable shifting into reverse. I nearly have to shut the motor down to get it to shift into R.
Anyone run into this problem? Thanks in advance for any help!!

Have you tried extending the actuator rod between the clutch pedal and master cylinder?

check the bushings at both ends of the cables, and check for any broken motor mounts.

motor mounts are in good shape and the bushings look normal. I don't know if i understand the ? right...suspect checking for slack or rotten rubber??? The weird thing is, it worked fine until i installed new clutch fork and pivot ball.
