Step by step for rebuilding a turbo 6bolt?

Where can I find a good step by step for rebuilding a turbo 6bolt bottom end?
Im looking for all materials needed,tools needed,gaps,clearances and tolerances.
Something that is 100% complete, easy to follow and very descriptive.
I have searched but only found incomplete or hard to follow articles.

Believe it or not, the factory service manual is very helpful when dealing with something like this. It tells you how much torque for each bolt, etc, etc. I think it even tells you the factory part number to most things. You can find factory service manuals all day on ebay for less than $30. I found my 2 (one '91 and one '93) for about $15 apiece. Do NOT use books like Chilton, though. There's a lot of information left out of those kinds of books.

Hes right the Factory Service manual is great for this.
Check 1/2 price books thats where I get mine alot.

You can also go to your local parts store and pick up a haynes maunual. I used mine with my rebuild and had no problems.

Alot of those books have bad pics.

Just get a book. It's one of the most important tools you need to work on your car.

I have a Hayes which is my coaster for drinks and a Chilton's which is a very good book.

I already have a haynes.
I found the haynes way better to work with.It has more pictures.
I work better with pictures.Which was why im trying to find a how to online.Because people always fill those things with pics.And the pictures are more detailed.

Okay....I'm beginning to understand a little better. I'd do some searching around...I've seen CD's for sale which have entire engine builds on them. Know what I mean? It's like having the Haynes manual on a CD. I've seen these around several times, just never pursued them.

I have bought a few of those cds and they are absolute crap.
They were incomplete and badly put together.
Maybe i just got some bad ones.
I did get one good one once.I cant find it anymore tho.
I would search around Joe.
Maybe i will make one once I start building my new 6bolt.In a few months.

I have that and a Chilton book. I like Chilton just because it's a book if I need to look something quick up. Other than that, the CD is much more in depth and has just about everything you need to know!
