So i picked up a 92 AWD talon that sat for some time (unknown how long). I noticed right away there is a loug squeaking noise from the drives side every time i get in/out of the car and when I am turning left/right. I replaced both outer tie rods and also put on a replacement drivers side strut assy/strut mount. It stopped squeaking for a few days and now its back in full force.
I just pulled off the drivers side wheel and turn the steering wheel back n forth and I found that the squeaking is coming from either the inner tie rod or the steering rack. Also, when I am driving and come up on a hard right turn, i turn the wheel and when I get part way thruogh the turn, i feel the car kind of jerk to the left (feels like the right front tire came off the gruond) and then when i straighten it out it jerks back straight (feels like right front tire just touched back down).
how do I know if its the inner tie rod or if its the rack itself?
sorry so long winded I wanted to include as much detail as possible.
thanks guys
