Am going to start working on it sometime tomorrow and looking to see if there has been someone with a similar issue.

But here is the issue. A noise just started coming from the front driver side. When I turn it starts to make a noise and only then. When I got home I turned the wheel a couple of times and the steering wheel completely locked. It won't even let me start the car.
It also doesn't help I'm at a little slope

"Noise". That's all the info you can give? What kind of noise? Squealing? Ticking? Grinding? Thumping?

Also, it sounds like you just locked the wheel after you turned the car off. Just put the key in and try turning it while cranking left and right on the steering wheel to unlock it.

Sorry I guess I could have been more detailed.
That's the thing when I go to crank it nothing happens. I can't turn the key to start it.

I take that back it worked.

So the noise is more of a grind and it happens when I make sharp turns. Then it starts to grind.

I would start by getting under the car and taking a look at everything.

The noise only happens while turning? You don't hear it any other time? Does it happen when turning both left and right?

Check the boots on your axle and your steering rack. I have a feeling the problem might be your axle. One of the boots might have been torn for a while and now all the grease is gone causing the grinding noise to start.

It could be as simple as that, yes. The only way to know will be to look. Also, get the front of the car jacked up and, while you're under it, spin the driver's tire and listen for any sort of noise. It might be too quiet while driving the car that you don't hear it but it could be audible while you're under it. Then, put the key in the car to unlock the steering wheel and turn the wheel all the way to one side. Then, rotate the tire again and see what noises you hear.

Its more then likely as stated above, One or more of you're Ball joint boots or CV axle. Just have some one turn the wheel, while the front of the car is lifted. I have had this before and it was my lower control arms.

A failed CV should be more of a clicking or ticking or poping noise, not a grinding. That damn dust sheild can cause a lot of unknown issues. I f your wheel bearing is a little worn it could rub on the dust shield causing a grinding noise. Just my 2 cents.
