Hello everyone, I was going through some wiring in the back and there was a massive bit of aftermarket wiring taking up a lot of space. It connected to a few black boxes behind the ecu - a Clifford anti theft system. This system no longer worked and I decided to take it out along with majority of the wiring..so far.

Anyway, whoever installed this system did a piss poor job and made a mess I just want to clean it up.

Can anyone identify these connectors in the steering column so I can at least figure out how to follow the charts in the manual? There’s 3 on top and 3 on the underside.

I’ll add a video so you can enjoy the mess of wires with me 😉

EDIT: There are 4 electrical connections on the underside of the steering column, 3 on the top left and one on the right hand side (I think it just goes to the ignition). The electrical diagram doesn't do a good job of identifying OR specifying these connectors.

It would be nice if someone could do a connection guide similar to the one that has been done for the engine bay!

The wiring going to the column will most likely be for the switches/levers in that area (lights, wipers, etc.). I did see three "Column Switch" labels in the electrical diagram (see photo below).

As for the other ones, it'd be best if you could get pictures of the back side of the connector showing how many positions, wire colors, and what spots are populated/empty. And if you can trace a wire to a column switch, that'd be even more helpful.

Thank you for the response, I have this diagram printed out but I haven't figured out what they're for. If you can't see the connectors in the video, I will do my best to get a better shot of everything this weekend when I have a chance to look at it again.

My goal is 1 of these two options:
1) Buy an aftermarket anti theft/security system so I (or a professional shop) can reinstall it into the wires that were previously tapped into and clean this mess up
OR
2) Disconnect connectors to ensure I won't start a fire or lose out on anything needed on the road, blinkers and headlights etc. OR splice the OEM wires back to their OEM harnesses so it can be drivable without the fear of starting a fire.

If anyone has any other ideas of how to make this safe to drive that would be appreciated. I don't know much about wiring and I am gearing up to install some upgrades and a new ECU with ECMLink.

Will update later,
Thanks
