I have a strange problem with my car. I noticed my catchcan filled up about half way after about 1 trip to the store. So with the car running i pulled off the hose from the catchcan to the valce cover and steam was poring out (like a tea pot) .and water droplets were forming. I pulled off my oil cap and pulled dip stick and no signs of water in the oil. In the catch can there was that chocolate milk looking liquid .

Does any one have a idea of what this steam can be? Ive experienced all types of head gasket failures but nothing like this.

The car sat for about a month.

Car runs just fine, no smoke and no loss if coolant.

Im concerned with steam (water ) in the crank case. Car is parked untill this is resolved

Thank you for looking.

sounds like water getting in to your oil. If your car sat for a month it "might" be condensation - but that would be a lot of condensation....

Drive it and keep track of your water level and smell you exhaust, it sounds like a head gasket.
