Hey guys. Im running an AEM ems using a dynatek Arc2 on my 1990 and converted to 1991 style ignition (coil pack and PT).

Its all ready to go, except I don't have the new plug for the PT. I want to start the car without the PT. Can I do this?

Im using a AEM EMS, as well as a aftermarket tach, its getting its tach signal from the arc2.

So, as far as I can tell, I can use the ems to fire the arc2, very simple 3 wire ignition system.

Except for the white wire that goes from the PT back to the EMS, its for tach signal.

I mean.. If I DONT hook that up, will it effect anything since im not using a stock EMS? I really have no idea.

Please guys, I won't have the plug for the PT till next week and I really want to start the new build for peace of mind.

Thanks Everyone!!
