Starter signal wire location?

How can I find out where the ignition switch is on my 95 Talon Tsi so I can hook up the signal wire from the starter. Mine was cut off and now I cant find out where to reconnect.

It's On the side of the steering column.

Which wire are you looking for exactly? The wire that goes to the starter solenoid? If so, it goes from the starter into the car into the starter relay, which is located in the center console behind the CD player. There are a couple different relays back there, they are little square boxes with plugs going into them, I think the one you want is blue.
