HI guys well to make this brief i have had my 4g64 for about 6 months but i been having some problems with my starter i went through 3 in this time. is there anything other than the starter than can be causing this?

Can you add more details of your problem such as is the starter turning over at all? Whom installed these (3) starters? Did something happen prior to the starter not working (i.e. installed X part)?

I could see how one starter might fail with age, but for three to fail in a short span is unheard of (at least by me).

Well it clicks when you try to start it? but thats about it i mean thats all it does. nothing else happens i dont know why this happens

The "clicking" is the starter solunoid switching power to the starter. Do you have power and ground connected to the starter?

Also make sure that your battery is fully charged and the terminal connectors are tight and free from corrosion :dsm:

i had the same problem... first i changed the battery and it seemed to help.. i recommend optima yellow top.. havent had a problem since...
