So i had recently did a engine swap from six bolt to seven and my starter was fine and working for a few days then it quit touching my flywheel. Both flywheel and starter are fine and ive bought multiple starters for a manual and they all dont touch my flywheel the engine came out of a eagle talon awd

AWD flywheel is slightly smaller in diameter & not the same size as the FWD flywheel. Don't know what tranny you are using but you need an AWD flywheel with the AWD tranny & FWD flywheel for FWD. Also you need to keep 6-blot with 6-bolt, etc.

As posted above. Awd and fwd flywheels are different. The starters are the same but are different from m/t to auto. Clutch disc and pressure plates are interchangeable. I think it would be difficult to mix up a 6/7 bolt flywheel though LOL unless you have no business working on a car.

You did install the starter shim plate for the transmission right?
