Starter bolt hole size 2G

Random question but does anyone know what the Inside Diameter of the bolt hole for the two starter bolts is? I'm not asking what the bolt size is, I need to know the hole size on the actual transmission housing. If anyone has one laying around and can throw a caliper on that would be great. Specifically this is for a 2G AWD but should be the same on the other combos. Thanks!!

It's a metric 10mm bolt, so it should go into a metric 10mm hole. Should have a 1.25mm thread pitch too if I remember right...

Thanks but I need a little more specific. If the hole was 10mm the bolt would match and never slip in, there has to be some amount of clearance. I need to know what that clearance is. So let's say the bolt is 10mm, the hole for example is going to be 10.75mm.

The bolt size is slightly under what it is called. For instance a M10 (10mm) bolt would actually measure something like 9.97mm so it would fit in a straight-up 10mm hole.

This helps but I think there is a lot more clearance in those starter holes. I can wiggle the 10mm bolt quite a bit. What I'm trying to do is make bushings for the two starter bolts so that the bolts slip into the hole snug because my 6 bolt swap starter plate was not shaved down enough. Right now my starter is sitting too high. if I make bushings for the starter bolts and open up the plate a little more it should put it right where it needs to be. But I need that ID before I hit the lathe.

What a coincidence - I just happen to have my 99 FWD GST tranny completely apart!
My caliper measurements:
Starter hole: 0.440" at bolt head (appears tapered to reach 0.508" at starter side)
Starter bolt dia. on shank: 0.355" (9.017 mm)
Starter bolt dia. on threads: 0.385" (9.779 mm)
