need bolt size and starter issue(related problems?)

2 relatively simple questions.
I need the bolt size for the bolt that goes through the bellhousing to the engine block. The bolt near the slave cylinder. What size is the bolt?

My other issue is the starter doesn't engage on the flywheel and before I took my transmission off it worked perfectly. I've done the best I can to get a good ground. The lack of that one bolt might be the cause for a small alignment problem so I hope it's not the whole starter (expensive!). Is my starter ok?

does the starter kick on but doesnt crank the motor? or it just doesnt do anything at all? if it kicks on then you dont have a ground problem. i would say the missing bolt maybe the problem here, unless you some how installed the fly wheel backwards or something like that.

yea it'll kick on and spin, but it doesn't turn the motor over. I think it's something simple like this missing bolt.
