i had a 96 eclipse n/t until i totaled it.... well motor was still good, so just found an another 96 eclipse n/t in put it in there.. well now the problem is we have everything good and set to go but when we started the car it was idleing at 2,000 rpm.checked all my vaccum lines they were good, also wen i rev it the speedometer moves.. anybody got some answers for me..

Check the tps, throttle cable, speedo sensor in the transmission.
That will give you a good start.
The tps could be bad or just not adjusted right.
The throttle cable could be too tight and putting tension on the TB even when you are not touching the gas pedal.
The speedo sensor could be gone, not installed correctly, or you may have a transmission issue.
