Hey guys, im going turbo this summer but am really low on cash, along with everyone else. If I guy the Star Stage 2 kit and thats it nothing else. 1 can I run only 5lbs of boost instead of 10 still using he star wastegate or do i have to buy a new one. 2. will it be okay with my stock injectors. and 3 will it be fine with just the kit and nothing else?

1. yes unless you buy a MBC
2. should be fine the kit comes with an upgraded fuel pump to cover fuel
3. should be fine, but to really be safe I would recommend buying the following asap
a.EGT probe/guage-$150 +/- depending on what you buy
b.oil pressure guage- $50 +/- " " " "" " " '''' """ """"
c. a/f sensor(preferably wideband) -$50-??? sky's the limit depending on brand/setup
d. and lastly actually some will say the most important a flex section for the DP- $ depends

just my 2 cents

or you can just do the responsible thing, wait to buy the turbo kit and use the money to better build your engine. THEN save up the rest and buy a turbo kit so you can run as much boost as your mind so desires........

Why the flex pipe please explain, doesn the downpipe take out the current flex pipe and connect to the stock catylitic converter? and you are saying with the wastegate star gives you i can run 5lbs without buying a MBC

yes the downpipe connects to the cat, therefore no flexpipe.
the wastegate i got with my star kit was good for 7psi. but i managed to squeeze out 15 using my apexi bc unit.
