Im thinkin about it...not really to race but to show atleast my car isnt beat...

granted theres 37894234698236 posts about turbo kits i would hope someone can give me their feedback...i plan on makin the tranny high torque soon, but should i get it done right away? i really wanna a little of it all, sound looks and power..... no sarcastic posts pls..im illiterate when it comes to technical stuff like this...just slightly motor literate...thanks

I would get the high stall converter if were you unless you want shitty ass launches (and I mean shitty). The boost doesn't kick in until about 3.5-4k so off the line you are going to be very slow.

I'll bet I could shed off a whole second off my ET with the high stall. Its going to be my next mod :thumb: Once you are rolling though the car will pull like crazy, some guy in a Tiburon v6 was gunning through all his gears and still couldn't pass me. haha :sneaky:

i've gone from stock to stage 1 then stage 2 then stage3 and so on and i have a 98 eclipse auto with the star kit. my tranny held up great at 5,10,even 15psi but after i hit the 300+hp range at 20psi i can't keep a tranny in it for more than 1500 miles. both times 3rd and 4th gear get wiped out. i don't have a stall converter yet and it does spool up kinda slow with t3 a/r 60 and 2.5"intercooler piping but with an auto you can build boost on the line by torque braking. i have a video of my car launching at 10psi and boosting to 18psi.you can see the speedo get to 70mph in roughly 5 seconds. i will send it to you if you want. anyways you should be fine with just a tranny cooler at stage 2. :thumb:

thanks to the both of you...i also heard about a turbo kit made by force engineering this guy i just met told me about...imma check that out..

granted this car is auto and i know everyone and their mom always say go manual but i didnt have an option and basically im not gonna complain when i basically was givin this car.. i am ordering all the upgrades to the tranny tonight, and judging on how it works out i should have my kit by the middle of next month... like i said before a little of everything, and im finally content with the sound my system puts out...

lastly, ive heard taking off could be a bi***, its ok though, im patient and im sure things will work themselves out as long as its done right..
