Stanced DSM

This site has really gone downhill, not in regards to the OP, every thread I read now has at least two people fighting over something stupid.

Do what you want its your car, look into the suspension sections for help. Also stancenation is probably going to be your best resource.

IMO an "aggressive stance" to me is 4 fat drag radials hangin out

If you guys want to keep doing this then please take it to pm and respect the other members.
It's just a matter of reporting the posts to moderators so they can kill the flaming before it gets out of hand. Not many members take the time to do that anymore for some reason. If more people would lend a hand and help report posts using that powerful little link that shows up below the content of the post, it would help tremendously. If you see a post that violates the site's policies, report it. If you think the site is going downhill, you have the ability to make a positive impact using that tool.

If there's one thing that has been lacking around here lately, it's been that sense of community pride... I don't know if it's limited to just our site or the DSM crowd as a whole, but it's becoming more noticeable. People are quick to take verbal jabs and toss around insults - there seems to be a lot less patience and tolerance. It's discouraging. And then when a mod steps in to clean it up they're called out for abusing their power. I know this happens quite a bit on a lot of car sites like ours, but it would sure be nice to see more positive attitudes around here.

Can't we all just get along?

Thanks Chris. It's nice to see someone stand behind the community that they created. I agree the sense of community is definitely lacking a bit. There are people that want to mod their cars for full on performance and function and never look at things like stance (unless it allows them wider tires or the like). But there are people that are also into the looks of the car. I think that there is room for all kinds on this site, and I certainly hope it doesn't go away anytime soon. I would not be as mechanically inclined as I am had it not been for this site.

[/QUOTE] Lets focus on the discussion here, yes most of us don't like that Hellaflush stretched tires thing, but "stance" can have a lots of meanings.
camber less than -2 can wear the inner parts of the tires slightly, but they will last almost the same miles (been there done that with a road race car), toe if what we have to focus here not to have any, there is ways to stretch a tire slightly with slightly negative camber and don't sacrifice the form of the car and still have function, If we don't help him his gonna go ruin his car or over do it in the process, do you really want that for his car??? No we dont want him to overdone it and some people follow him will ruin more cars.

Lets just try to help him, if he don't wanna be help then thats a different story.

(General)
I didn't sacrifice any performance on my car with this -1.3 camber the other way around "i did it for performance" and wide wheels with wide tires and my car have "stance" can you see how stance can have different meanings? gezz people if you don't know the whole "stance" meaning don't say anything sometimes it makes you look like an idiot, play nice there or son some people is gonna laugh of your 17 x skinny wheels of your that you bought for a deal with no brand tires...Thats sacrificing performance right there.

Only do it to a 420a eclipse, otherwise its a waste of a 4g.

Having my car slammed and needing tires about every 3 months, I say don't do it. Ride is extremely bouncy even with expensive coils and you have to drive like your dodging mines. Plus fitting wheels to be flush with the fenders is not easy. And driving in any conditions with this thing is hard because of the traction with the stretched tires, so i got rid of them.:D

But, you get the perk of looking good, and being hellaslow.

3 months, LOL you never did an alingment then, camber have very little effect on how long the tire lives, i will wear on the inner part but last as long, i did it on a road race car, what you had was excessive toe.
