Hi Guys,

I haven't had a problem with my car stalling in 2 weeks after my mechanic changed my fuel filter, but yesterday and again today after being in traffic & it being hot outside, it tends to happen alot. She runs great when I drive her, but when I come to a stop and idol at a light, she wants to stop & stall. It does restart, but when I come to another stop, stalls on me again. This does only happen when the engine is really hot so my boyfriend thinks it may be the cadlic converter or the computer. It's so frustrating because other then that she runs fantastic. My mechanic did check for leaks and told me there's none. There's no corosion and all wiring seams fine. The throttle was cleaned when the filter was changed. Can something be blocked?

Does anyone have any other sugestions out there? anything would help at this point.
I don't know what else it can be. It's driving me crazy!!!

Thanks so much
Jen
p.s this is what has been done since I bought the car!
1)head gasket
2)timing belt/water pump
3)altinator
4)starter
5)gas filter
6)cleaned throttle plate
7)remote starter
8)new radio & speakers

Maybe check to see if the mechanic bumped something on your fresh air intake hose from the maf to the throttle body. Kind of sounds like there may be a small hose knocked off or the fresh air hose itself isn't completely hooked on all the way. Thats a weird one. New fuel filters don't normally cause a hot idle problem?

HI Guys,

I found a garage which the guy owns a Talon AWD Turbo & knows them inside out. He is changing my radiator & coolant temperature sensor. The rad hasn't been done since the car's 93 year so its well over due. I hope that helps, but just knowing the guy owns a talon and knows them from a to z makes me feel a whole lot better.

Thanks for your imput guys. I appreciate it alot

Hope this works
Jen
