Ok... this is the last thing I need to put into my car for it to work. My stainless oil feed line. HOWEVER, it has no clearance. HOW IN THE #### DO YOU GUYS PUT THESE IN THERE?

Here's my oil feed line hole

And here is the fitting hitting on the metal bracket. No matter what it turns 1-2 times and hits.

I'm about to just go get a straight fitting... but HOW do you get it to fit on there? I have the whole stainless oil feed line, because I got a new evo 3g w/install kit.

Is it the turbochargers.com 2g install kit? I think I just put some teflon tape on the threads and then screwed it in as far as it goes, and it was snug.

Exactly what I was about to suggest.

I know teflon tape is an easy solution for the install .. but I would strongly suggest against using teflon tape on the turbo's oil feed line. That line is a high pressure line, and with the head flowing through the line I'd think there a decent chance a piece of teflon tape could feed right into the turbo. Seen it happen more than once. Best of luck.

Also, I would call some turbo shop and look for a straight fitting to correct the problem. I would suggest using a brass alternative (purchased via your local hardware store) but have found the heat/stress may cause it to leak and/or fail.

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to see how you fare. Again, best of luck.

You've got the wrong hole. The one you want is right above it and that should solve your clearance problems.

I was about to freak out that nobody picked up on that. WTF
The hole that you were about to use is unfiltered oil, the one above that is the one you want to use to feed FILTERED oil to your turbo.
