My friend is selling one for 100bucks? Is it a good idea to rig it up to my 90 talon tsi:talon: I have someone who can custom make the piping for cheap, but not sure how reliable the core is. I know im not the only one out there with this question. I knw there is one post already on it, but still doesn't answer my question.

I would ask or search on the srt4 forums, you would probably get a more accurate response. There are people here that run them, but not many. It's not a very big core, but it's probably better than the stock sidemount.

ok sounds good thanks for the advice.

I guess you can call the core reliable, you have to understand that the first mod that most srt-4 owners do is replace the factory fmic with a larger aftermarket one. So that in itself would steer me away from that particular fmic. If I were you, I would look into either an evo VIII fmic or and ebay fmic. Just do some more searching and you will find tons of info on here.
