Well, I can't post this in the video section, So I figured I'd post it here. I just bought the car about 2 months ago, And didn't mod it yet.
I am HORRIBLE at launching a fwd car! The car went 13.6 with a 2.2 60ft, So I'm hoping to run even better times, Stock, Unless you call an open downpipe a mod, Which I don't...

I know it's not ''fast'', But it's ''quick'' for being a stock fwd car. There are no mods on the car.

Here is me racing an AWD 1g car with a fmic, And all the basic mods.. Ya I know he don't know how to drive, And his n60ft was a 2.3 or something, He ran a 14.8 as his best run I believe was a 14.8. I'm not trying to start a war, And this is the slowest car I have ever owned, But for being STOCK, It's quick! All I wanted to do was break 13's, And I did my second time back which was tonite, Now I'm ordering the ''Stage AGP'' kit, Which is supposibly good for 400whp on pump gas.

Don't mind my friends in the video's haha ;)

The mustang beat me by not even 100th of second :)

anyways nice runs, i dont know anyone of my friends with a stock srt-4 that have broke into the 13's so you are doing something right!
 
it seems stock setup is low 14's to high high 13's, but it seems the more they mod and stay on the stock 215 tire/rims, the slower they get from a dig.

my buddy has the stage1 ecu, AGP WG@18psi, rims/tires(i forget the combo, but some of the best 225's he could get), and mostly other suspension stuff(hotchkis sway bars, hotchkis lowering springs) and finally broke into 13's with a 13.992 but is still struggling with a 2.2 60ft. next is cheapie rims and DR's. car definately books in 2nd and 3rd gear, that 2.4 and the small turbo make for awesome combination. top of 4th kinda feels weak to me, and 5th gear is just eh, not like you should be going WOT in those gears anyways, youre probably breaking quite a few laws doing so. he just installed prothane motor mounts and wheelhop=gone so hes hoping for some better 60ft's and constant 13's, which i belive he can do now. seems im gonna have to install gears on the stang to match him again.
 
Stock tires are 205/ series... WAY too narrow.
 
Sorry about the quality of the video's, Either my girlfriend, Or friend was video taping. There was another srt4 there last nite, With a bunch of stuff done to it, And I asked him what he ran (After him being rather cocky naming all the stuff he had done to the car), And he said a 14.8. He asked what I had to run the 13.6 and when I said stock, I thought he had a heartattack.. Hahaha =) It doesn't feel like a 13second car to me, But I guess that is because I'm coming from something more ''extreme'' (the 2g).
 
I personally like the SRT4's. If I could find one for the right price I would get one in a heartbeat. Lots of nice one's running around here. I guess with AGP only a hop jump and skip away that is a big reason. I have seen the Stage AGP on a couple street cars and on of the guys that works there's car and it is very impressive. Aside a little wheelspin they are VERY quick cars.
 
I've seen the srt4's going for 13k already from private owners, some cheaper. I seen them going with front end damage for 4-5k too!

Here is my timeslip, And another video this one is of my 14.1 @ 102mph when I first got there with 45-50psi in the tires.

HEY! I'm the bad driver you're talking about. Haha, I did get better on my last run. I ran the black SRT-4 you were talking about. I ran a 14.50 @ 97mph and 2.1 60' and he ran a 14.68 @ 96mph with a 2.2 60'.
 
You should put race gas in and turn your boost up already like I've been telling you! I wish you would have left me drive two weeks ago with it because I KNOW for a fact that I could get your car down ALOT.. I was cutting 1.6 60ft's on street tires in my AWD.. It went 13.0 @ 107mph with race gas, an unbolted exhaust, a walbro and the boost turned up....
 
stock srt-4s do not trap 102...100 at best. Sure theres not Stage 1 or 2 in that thing? My bro has a SRT-4....him and all of his srt-4 friends trapped 99 or 100mph stock. Good run tho. My bro just put down 443whp on his w/ a GT3076R...best time so far is a 12.5...on a stock slipping clutch LOL. He hasnt ran it since he installed his AEM EMS....Hoping for low 12s- high 11s on drag radials.
 
Open D/P mod is better then a full exhaust. Not sure how closely it opens up on the SRT-4, but I know the Talon had better top end with my D/P off. To sum it up though, I'm impressed. I got quite a few friends with SRT-4s, I've not seen any of them on the 1/4 tarmac yet.
 
ILLiCliPSE - If I had ANY mods what so ever, I would have no problem listing them. cHz actually knows the car and when I got it. I am not hiding anything! About the trap speed, You need to do some research on the srt4. A few guys on srtforums.com have been running 13.6's BONE STOCK right off the lot. Mine is even an 03', So I do not have the privlage of the larger injectors, bfg's, Or an LSD. :( It's like the guy last nite at the track running a high 14, In his stage1 car, With other mods!! I think I pissed him off, But oh well!

laserspeeddemon - Thanks for the comments, I actually can't tell that much of a difference with it running open dp, Probably only because it's SO LOUD that I can't hear myself think. For some reason, The srt4 sounds really different, It backfires and gargles like I never heard before.
 
I give SRT-4s much respect but as you said it's still a Neon. To run 13's bone stock is very impressive and I think it has more to do with your driving skills to tell you the truth. I would think that to run with an open dp would not be considered stock because of less restriction.
 
True, Although if you do research, The shell is a neon, And not the chassis/suspension/motor/tranny etc etc etc, But who cares right! A neon is just that, A neon. Just like an eclipse is an eclipse, A supra is a supra, Etc etc etc! ;) It don't bother me or I'd sell it and buy an evo tomorrow. I don't want an evo, Or I could have one. I'd rather not go in debt over a car!
 
Haha, I would've let you run it Friday night if it wasn't so packed. Next time we are both there and it isn't THAT packed, I'll let you run it for me.
 
All the major magazines tested the SRT-4 at 13.8, so I'd say you did alright...
 
I hope to go back on an empty tank with a few gallons of race gas, And up the boost.. Still with no mods, I hope I can get in the low 13's before I rip into the car! I even have the 03' with no lsd, smaller injectors etc.
 
yea for an 03 with the smaller injectors and no lsd thats really good. just get motor mount inserts and slicks and short through and your shave a few more tenths, motor mounts eliminate a lot of wheel hop from launching. Once i put Motor mount inserts in my 2005 srt i felt a difference, also lowering it helped with the wheel hop a little more. ever since i sold my GSX for this ive never looked back only thing i miss is the AWD and cruise control LOL
 
Went back again finally and left a bit more air out of my tires, Still on pump gas. I went 13.5 @ 102 mph with a 2.1 60ft'. I was running open downpipe which is the only mods i have done to the entire car, As of right now.
 
good stuff!! i used to have one. went 13.68 straight from the dealer...full exhaust and all, but i had LSD and cut a 2.06 60ft haha...With a B&B downpipe (open) agp WGA on 17lbs, intake, FMIC (stock flex piping and bov) and some drag radials i ran a 12.39 with the help of a 1.71 60ft...honestly. i ws never spoiled with AWD, i kinda like FWD
 
i had an 03 srt4, no lsd. i had agp wga, s1 injectors, kn cold air intake, and 3" turbo back side exit exhaust. The guy who had it before me put low profile tires on there so i couldnt hook up worth anything, the best i could get was a 13.8@106 wich i also feel that i could of gotten it down to around a 13.4ish but who knows, i miss that car
 
hmm now i want to run my SRT-4 at the track and all my friends want me too also... I guess now i have to LOL since all you dsm\srt guys did too all i have done to mine is lowering springs, motor mounts, and short throw and drag radials, hopefully ill break 13's

I'm on street tires and an unbolted downpipe and i went 13.50's on pumpgas. You have drag radials so if you know how to drive I don't see any reason why you wont' be in the mid to low 13's like that. I've seen guys with modded srt4's running shitty times. Then all the srt4 guys on the other boards bi*** and moan when you say you ran a fast time, Because they don't know how to drive and run shitty high 13's to 15's MODDED.
