I have my friends srt-4 front mount intercooler. I want to get custom piping to make it fit my car. Has anybody tried this? Any ideas on how to make it work?

Find someone that can weld, go buy some piping and have them weld it up.

wow, your from wheaton...so close to me, im gonna take it to ams for an estimate. I really just want to know if the end tanks work or not.

What's different about an srt4 intercooler endtanks? I've never seen one so I'd like to know.

im going to try and mount the fmic i got off an srt sunday and see how im going to run the piping. ill keep you informed what the outcome is-ill try and take pics of the setup.

I did it. I got it done for my old 95 GS but I sold the car. I installed in my Talon but sudently I decided it was too small for my setup so, I decided to upgrade it. I didn't mind install the SRT-4 intercooler since I got it for free (a friend of mine own an SRT-4, see the yellow one in the pic.)

It was TIG welded for 50 Dollars taking all the materials with me.
THe materials (pipes, plates) & intercooler were for free.
So, I might as well try and Install it.

Measurement: 2 3/4" x 5 3/4" x 24" that is the core size.
2 1/2" (each) intanke and outlet

Here are some pics:

I was just curious about what type of piping you used for this fmic.
Custom Intercooling pipe, 2 1/4". It was meant to be used for exhaust I think. Here is how I routed: (I know it is a different intercooler but it is the same piping)
