DSM Palm logger on SRT-4

So my friend has an SRT-4 and i just got DSMlink and he wants my logger if it will work. Does anyone know if it will work for his car, like while the cable hook to his data connector or is it a different pin on his that sends the signals. also will the MMCD work on his or is his computer not compatible with that? Just trying to raise his boost but wanna monitor fuel and knock and all that. Thanks
