how hard do you guys thing it would be to swap a srt-4 intercooler on a 2g Talon. I might be able to get one for free.

It's actually a pretty small intercooler, I would suggest at least going for a EVO intercooler and having some short route piping made (or DIY if you have a welder)

i mean i guess if its free it beats the stock smic but those evo and srt fmic arent that efficent. why do you think your getting one for free? :dsm:

go to evolutionm.net to find a cheap EVO IC, alot of EVO's are running stock Intercooler running 10's and 11's, If I had to do it over again? I would go with a EVO IC unless your running bigger than a evo 3 16g

i think a srt4 ic is short(height wise) and long, and would match a 1g well, but seeing youre a 2gA, it might look great also.

while its a upgrade over the smic, its not as efficient as larger cores(kinda self explanatory).

the evo fmic's are pretty darned good from what i hear though. many a evo guy i talk to say fmic are beyond their needs, and from what they have done to their cars, i believe them. itd be like a guy slapping a 24r greddy on a t25, its just not needed.
