Squeal on Start-up

I'm wanting to say no considering I tried 3 different starters (2 Auto Zone "new" reman and 1 used OEM).

"Hi everybody" I got a squealing sound and found the cause, its the starter motor. I firstly pulled it apart cleaned it and it got worse so I thought ok what did I do??? I know I shaved the bushing for the torque converter so its closer to the engine now, so I shimmed the starter and the squealing is gone, the cog on the starter should probably be shaved about 2mm. the reason it squeals is because the cog is spinning with the engine, sounds the same as a loose belt.
