speedo problems, HELP!

Can somebody tell me how I can get my stupid speedo workin. Ive changed the speedo sensor, the gear, and yes im positive its plugged in. Im pretty sure there is nothing wrong with the guage. The speedo needle twitches every now and then and adds a couple of miles for every 20-30 or so miles i drive. The car also stalls when coming to a stop if i downshift, indicating that it is not signalling the IAC . Some one told me that there is a separate fuse on this system somewhere does anyone know anything about this?? It is drivin me crazy. By the way if your changin the speed sensor dont drop the gear into the tranny it is a mother to get out... I know! :thumbdown

2G, I guess? If you've already replaced the sensor, and are certain the connection is good (the usual problem), then pull your instrument cluster and check the connection at that end.

On a 2g that fuse is a different one than the other instruments. It is 10 amps (#8) and also runs the auto cruise control, rear window defogger, seat belt warning, motor antenna, sunroof.

Thats funny none of those options are functoning for me! Can you tell me where that use is located? Yes its a 2g, sorry.
