Ok i have a HUGE problem...When I try and hookup my cables to my battery sparks start flying from the battery posts!!!! I have juust completed a entire engine rebuild on the car. NEW EVERYTHING as far as on the motor and such. I even bought a new wiring harness for my car because mine was cut and missing connectors like crazy. I had everything already to go to start the car and i just installed the battery and i was hooking up the cables and it just started sparking and continued to spark. I don't know if i have something hooked up comletely wrong in the wiring harness that is making it have too much of a load or what??? I am using a JDM ecu which i dont see why that would be causing it to do that or what. I dont even know where to even begin looking for the problem... I tried just hooking up the positive connector and leaving the ground off to see if i was grounded somewhere else?? But it only does it when i have the ground and i touch the possitive connnector to the possitive post sparks go everywhere!!! I have not even started up this new engine
ANYONE with ANY GOOD IDEAS i would be willing to try anything at ALL. IS there any WISEMEN out there?!?!

ok the first one is a picture of the back of the starter and the wiring harness that goes to it. 1. is where i am assuming that the power wire connects to the back of the starter and 2. is the connecter that goes to the solenoid.
