hey guyz

I was told by my friend who proally knows a lot or too little about cars but he said to get a lil more a (LITTLE) more power you can replace your spark plugs and fuel injectors. since I got a rs N/T I am thinkin of changing my spark plugs since fuel injectors cost a little more. but I went to autozone today and asked for NGK spark plugs and the guy suggested the denzo aka NGK iridium sparkplugs which are about $13 a piece so its about 52 bucks and thats what I am going to do tomorrow but after doing a search on this forum and reading some horror stories I am not sure what I should do? anyone have any suggestions?.

ps: mods I am just getting started with cars and stuff so I am not sure what forum this should be posted in but plz forgive me if I posted in wrong section.

thanks

Plugs probably aren't going to give you enough to be worth bothering with. You _sure_ won't get $52 worth of improvement. Iridiums aren't really needed, they're more a glitz item than better.

N/T DSMs are very good cars. But you're not going to get modern versions of good speed out of them. Be happy with what it is, and save up the money you'd waste on it for your next car.

aight

but just since you guyz know a lot about dsms. I would like to know what other guys have on their nt's I mean bolt on mods and stuff. If you guys wouldnt mind sharing.

I right now have
Ractive 4.5" muffler
AEM CAI

If he offers to sell you those $52 dollar plugs again ask him to explain to you what makes them better than the NGK plugs that you are being recommended to use.

Then after hearing his explination go ahead and buy the NGK's.
:)

I think the iridum plugs were a great way for HKS to make some extra dough.

Shitty product.
Great Makreting scheme.

In my old car I couldnt do burnouts unless it was the day i put in new plugs. Because of that I really beleive in the power of fresh plugs! If i was gonna race for money i'd spend the 8 bucks and put fresh plugs in right before :thumb:
