420A spark issue

I have no spark in cylinders 1 and 4 but 2 and 3 are good have replaced plugs wires and coil got told it may be power transistor but don't know where its located any help would be great it is a 97 eclipse with a 420a motor.

hmm could be your power transistor im not sure if a 420a has one, could be your coils , could be cas. Have you checked your injectors to make sure they are running also? could be a ecu issue. have seen these all cause that no sprak issue.

Cas and injectors are good and ecu Ima swap for a known good one this weekend but didn't know if these had power transistors or it came straight from ecu first time I mess with one of these

No power transistor in 420a. Suspect CAS, coil, ECU.

Crank and cam sensor both give the information to the ECU on when to fire and the ECU sends power to the coil thereby producing spark. Check the sensors and wiring to make sure they are good and no shorts in the signal or power wires

Check and replaced sensors over weekend still have same issue

You need to check for voltage and signal voltage at sensors and coil. Check for a short in wires. Then last resort is test ecu voltage and signals from sensors. If nothing then test same stuff on coil. If nothing then, bad ecu more than a likely. Been wrong before
