ok I have fuel i have spark......but yet it will not crank. it just trys to turn over......every now and then it will back fire threw the tail pipe or even threw the t-body. im lost i mean i cant think of anything......i changed the starter and i look at the timeing marks and the look to be right on sooo what else could cause this....please help anybody

How do you know you have fuel on 1995-1999 the crank sensor controls the fuel pump. Pull and push on your crank to see if there is a lot of play. The crank might have walked it might get signal some times and give a little fuel.

Is your CEL on? If it's on grab your DTC's and see what the ECU thinks. That way if its a sensor problem instead of tearing down the engine you can check connections/replace a bad sensor.

Fastass96, I think I peed my pants when I saw your dyno #'s :p

ok i know i have fuel cause i pulled off my fuel line and turned the car over and go a stedy flow of fuel and i changed my crank sensor like 1,000 miles ago......could it be the cam sensor.....please im lost on this

and there is no CEL on soo i cant check that......is there a way to change the cam sensor with out takeing the whole side of the motor apart

Just some simple thigs to check:

all plug wires are on the CORRECT plug location
distributer rotor is 180 degrees off (if the car has a distributer)

If you are getting fuel AND spark, this is all I can think of. Only other possibility is that the timing is off.

Hope this helps!

Are your injectors are pulsing? They should have 12v on the one pin and should have a switched ground on the other. Check your timing and that all the plug wires are in the right location. I also see that you have ecu+ in your profile check your fuel and timing settings.

ok i have tried everything.....but....is there a way to check the ecu i mean i have the ecu plus and it shows signal and all but it see what the ecu see before soo it still could be messed up
