space pivot ball

Ok I was just wondering if with a new ball and fork will I need to shim the pivot ball. I'm going with the forged fork and ball from extreme psi. I ask cause this trans is a bi*** with the dam polyurethane mounts thanks.

Why, do you suspect so due to refinishing the flywheel or mixing parts, or it was way off before? Unfortuately you won't know until you bolt the bell housing onto the engine and look at the clutch fork position in it's casing window: http://www.teamrip.com/when_why_and_how_to_shim_pivot_ball_info.html.

luv2rallye is right. There's no real way to be sure until you get the trans onto the motor and check where the fork sits. If all of your drivetrain components were brand new, I'd say your chances of needing to shim would be slim to none. If the clutch is pretty new, I think you'll be fine.

Yea the clutch is pretty new act2600 came with car and I swapped out my trans with a 93 cause my old one grinded second. And well I had it out and said I should shim this wait the other trans was fine....... f***ed myself with a low pedal and clutch drag so I want to do it right this time thanks for the advice
