2G Sound coming from center console

I am getting a sound coming from center console. It started when I put in the AEM EMS v1. I switched to apexi power fc and still have the same sound. If I plug the stock ECU in I don't hear it. It starts as soon as I turn the key to the power only. I haven't started it yet. The sound is coming from where the MFI/Fuel relays are. Being is freezing cold out and lack of knowledge anyone had this issue or know what it could be?

Can you explain what kinda of sound? Beep, buzz, rattle, music(). Is it a constant sound/noise or just when you turn the key over and then it goes away.

That would help . It go's away as soon as I shut it off. It like a buzzing sound.

Could be as simple as a relay going bad, or not getting enough power to stay switched.

If it's a buzzing noise it may be not enough power to switch the relays like a previous poster described. I had that issue with my Talon, the problem was the ignition switch in that case. It had loose connections. From what you're describing, perhaps the wiring isnt correct or loose? How are the other two systems hooked up to the car, just with an adapter harness? Maybe you have a bad connection in one of those wires.

The AEM EMS and apexi power fc are both plug and play. I haven't cut into the wiring. I just plugged it in. In the video I have the power fc in, but when I had the aem in it made the same sound. Before I put the power fc in I put the stock ecu in and everything was fine. Ran like sh!t and would cut off when put into drive.

Could it be something with the srs system in the armrest? I know next to nothing about electrical wiring I just know that's one of the only things in the actual console that's could be affected by the ecu.

Does sound like a relay or a buzzer that really wants to buzz but just can't. Feel around, you should feel vibrations and trace them to the faulty component.

Sounds like a bee is trapped in their! How do you drive it without going nuts!? But from my limited knowledge I'd say its a bad relay.

I have driven it in about a year. Been putting in all the mods. I would be able to drive it will that sound. I order new relays and a new battery. I'll post and update as soon as they come in.

Ok, so I replaced the relays and put a new battery in. Sound is still there and now have fuel coming out of an injector. Think this car hate me.

Well I am going to take a stab at it, its the dsm heart beating and it means the car is alive!

Also maybe wiggle the key and see if it changes the voltage to that at all, if the switch is bad it can cause buzzing as well.

Quick update. I still have the sound but it know sound like its coming from inside the engine bay. Had to stop looking for the sound because (Get ready) had fuel poring out of the intercooler. After cleaning everything up. I took a look at the fuel pressure reg. It must be an ebay special. I have an AEM fuel pressure reg now and new gauge. It just been so cold and raining have put it in yet. I'll send another update as soon as I get it in. Again thank you all the help.
