when i start my car from cold it will require me to push the gas and let off.... or it will stall... its like it cant decide air/ fuel ratio and it spits out black soot... it only does it for like 30 seconds and then it idles normal... its like it starts right up fine, revs to 1500 or so and then drops and stalls unless i hit the gas, then when i hold the gas in a little it sputters like its going lean... it only happens when its really cold out ( like 15 degrees)....

i recently cleaned the throttle body (it was filthy) it helped alot but its still doing the same thing... just not as bad....

any ideas?

Sounds like you're running extremely rich. There are several things that can contribute to this. Boost leaks. Vacuum leaks. A failed FPR. A bad 02 sensor. A faulty MAF.

What have you checked? Have you changed anything recently pre-issue? Some more detail would be helpful.

i just got the car and it has done this since i got it... as far as i know the only upgrades are a k&n filter and 16g turbo, punishment bov, and manual boost control... it has an air fuel gauge and it never says rich but does flash lean sometimes... how can i check for boost leak without a tester? and i am pretty sire there is no vaccum leaks

i just dont get why it only does it for a few seconds after sitting all night when its really cold out

no check engine light either
